How to generate technical logs (DxDiag/MSinfo)

Our team may ask you to attach a DxDiag and MSInfo to your ticket. A DxDiag and MSInfo contain detailed information regarding your system, which can assist us in fully understanding the source of technical problems you may be encountering.

 
To generate a DxDiag:
  1. Press the Windows Key + R to open the "Run" command.
  2. In the text box type dxdiag and click "OK" - this will open the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
  3. At the bottom of the window click "Save All Information..."
    • Please note it may take a few seconds for all the information to be collected.
  4. Name your file DxDiag and save it somewhere you can easily access, such as your desktop.
 
To generate an MSInfo report:
  1. Press the Windows Key + R to open the "Run" command.
  2. In the text box type MSInfo32 and click "OK" - this will open the System Information window.
  3. In the System Information window, click "File" in the top left corner and then click "Save" from the drop-down menu.
  4. Name your file MSInfo32 and save it somewhere you can easily access, such as your desktop.
